Scinde House has accommodation available for hire during School holidays and Public Holiday periods, making it ideal for sports groups, cultural groups and educational groups.

Accomodation Costs
Individual options are available at the following rates (all prices include GST).

• Bed – $45 (per person, per day)
• Cooked breakfast – $12 (includes a hot option)
• Packed lunch – $12 (open until 8:30am)
• Hot lunch – $16 on the day of arrival (available upon request)
• Dinner – $21
• Linen – (available upon request). Guests are generally required to provide their own Pillow, Duvet/Sleeping bag and towel. Scinde House provides a mattress and bottom sheet as part of your booking.
• Laundry – $20 per load of team sport wear only (letting groups are not permitted to use the Scinde House laundry facilities themselves)

Facilities Available

• Scinde House can cater for up to 190 guests.
• The preferred minimum group size is 30 (subject to negotiation)
• Bedrooms are either single or double.
• Recreational facilities (outdoor table tennis tables, tennis courts, cricket nets and basketball hoops)
• Wi-Fi and Smart TVs, kitchenettes with microwave, small fridge and tea and coffee facilities.
• Napier Boys’ High School facilities may be available upon request (swimming pool, school hall, classroom spaces); this may incur an additional charge.

Payment Plan

• A first payment (deposit) equal to one quarter of the total invoice amount is required no later than one month after the booking confirmation.
• A second payment of one-half of the total invoice is required no later than 6 weeks from the arrival date.
• The final payment of one quarter of the total invoice is due two weeks from the arrival date.
• Laundry and any other additional minor costs will be billed separately after departure.
• Cancellation six weeks prior to the confirmed arrival date will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to one quarter of the group’s accommodation (bed) charge.

Conditions

• Mealtimes are between 7am and 6pm (unless organised prior)
• Accommodation must be vacated no later than 10am (unless otherwise negotiated)
