Music & Performance

Our music department is a hub of energy and excellence. Students have the opportunity to hone their craft across a wide spectrum of genres, including:

  • Contemporary & Jazz: A thriving scene featuring rock groups and vibrant jazz ensembles.
  • Chamber & Vocal: Dedicated chamber music groups and vocal ensembles that regularly compete at prestigious events like The Big Sing and the Barbershop Nationals.

Drama & Theatre

We provide a professional-level stage for our students to explore their acting potential. Our collaborative relationship with Napier Girls’ High School enables us to stage major dramatic productions each year. Furthermore, students can test their improvisation and interpretation skills through:

  • Theatresports: High-energy competitive improvisation.
  • Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival: A platform for students to interpret and perform the works of the Bard.
