The core +PLUS programme runs during Term I (February – April) and Term IV (October – December), making the most of New Zealand’s warmer months. Students can look forward to a thrilling mixture of water sports, from surfing lessons at pristine Waimarama Beach and cable wakeboarding to white-water rafting and blackwater rafting through the famous Waitomo Caves. The adventure continues on land with adrenaline-pumping activities like high-ropes courses at Adrenalin Forest, paintball, and the unique speed of blokarts and drift-trikes. Boys will also immerse themselves in Kiwi culture, experiencing a traditional New Zealand farm, carving their own authentic greenstone (pounamu) keepsake, catching the electric atmosphere of a live Super Rugby match, and taking part in a weekend of adventure tourism and Māori cultural experiences in Rotorua.

While the formal +PLUS package takes place in Terms I and IV, the excitement doesn't stop during the winter months. In Terms II and III, we organise a variety of optional seasonal activities to keep our boys exploring. Students can sign up for everything from winter ski trips to guided school holiday excursions to other major New Zealand centres, all available at an additional cost. It is the ultimate way for our boys to challenge themselves, build lifelong friendships, and truly grow their New Zealand experience.
